For Jared's b-day, I surprised him with a little day trip down to Zion's National Park. I packed the whole car and made all the arrangements myself, and the next morning surprised him by waking him and the kids up really early to leave for our little adventure. It was tons of fun! We didn't get home until about 3am in the morning and we both had to work that next day...but it was still a blast! This is a picture of Jared and the kids in front of Checkerboard rock...our first stop!
Just as we came into Zion's, there was an Indian ranch on the side of the road with hundreds of Buffalo roaming all over. The kids thought it was the coolest thing ever!
Poor Lily got really car sick on the way down :(
The boys on the other hand did anything they could to try to get her mind off of it...Here's Seth wearing Lily's diva sunglasses, and Dylan's saying, "Check it out baby!" It was sooo funny and so cute to see them worry so much about their little sister!
