School is finally out! The boys worked so hard to do good in school and they had such an awesome year, so we decided to surprise them with a little day trip up north. We made sure to stop at all of our favorite places, and spent most of the day just playing. Our first stop was our favorite park in Orem. We brought a picnic lunch and then played all kinds of games. Dylan loves showing off his great baseball skills!
Lily is already showing signs of being an all-star ball player!
Seth loves playing football and someday hopes to be as good as his daddy!
Dylan going for a take-down! Sometimes they remind me so much of Sam and Andy (My awesome big brothers) and the way they wrestle and fight with each other all the time, yet they are nearly inseparable when it comes down to it...they are as close as can be!
Lily just enjoying the warm summer weather.
Lily, Seth and Dylan...they make a great team!
Jared and Dylan playing on the monkey bars. Dylan is pretending to be a monkey swinging in the trees.
Me and my little Lily
Jared and the kids posing with our favorite bear at the park. Lily was a little upset because she said the bears bum was too fat, and there wasn't enough room for her to stand up there =)
Next we went to the Cub Scout store and bought new uniforms for the boys since they will be changing dens in a few weeks. Seth will be graduating from a Wolf to a Bear, and Dylan will be starting Tigers. They are both really excited!
Later that evening we went up to Jordan Commons, and saw the movie "Iron Man." Even Lily loved it and sat still through the whole thing! (that's a first for her!) We did things kind of backwards and ate our ice cream first and then went to the Mayan for dinner. The kids loved the idea of having dessert first!
Even though we had eaten at the Mayan before, they've remodeled it since the last time, and the kids thought this was the coolest place ever! The food was awesome!
L, J, S and D thought this snake's HUGE fangs were super cool! Good thing it's not real...I hate snakes =)
