We had a great St. Patrick's Day! The night before, we watched an Irish movie with the kids and gave them a green bubble bath. Before bedtime, we read them the story of St. Patrick and taught them a little bit about Irish history, and why we celebrate this day!
The next morning, (the 17th) we ate green pancakes and green oatmeal, with hot chocolate and green whip cream on top. They loved it! We have a tradition that every year for St. Partick's Day, we buy the kids a new green shirt...so here they are modeling them in the picture. We had a lot of fun! The kids helped me make their lunches for school...Green salad, green applesauce, with green lemon bars, and anything else "green" we could find or make up! Later that night we played games outside and drank more hot chocolate with green whip cream...what a blast!
