Snowflake, Arizona

Our trip to Snowflake was loads of fun! Jared had his 10 year High School reunion, so we decided to make the long trip down.
Snowflake celebrates the 24th just like Utah does, so we had the added bonus of all that fun! Their parade was awesome, I don't think the kids will ever want to see ours again after seeing this one.
Jared had a lot of fun catching up with old buddies, and the kids had a blast playing with cousins  and meeting lots of new friends.
I loved driving around town and hearing all of Jared's stories about when he was a kid...the boys particularly liked this too...and hearing about all trouble their Daddy used to get into =)
The town itself is great and feels just like home to me...I loved it! Although I was born and raised in the big city, small towns out in the country are where I am the happiest!
Scott and Sara were so awesome for putting up with us for a few days, and watching our kids so we could spend a little time alone. I think the kiddos will forever be asking for "uncle Osc to come and play."
On the way home we stopped by the Grand Canyon. I wish we could have stayed longer to really enjoy it and hike in a little deeper, but it was still great fun. There is nothing like seeing your kids experience something new for the first time! They loved it...
What an awesome trip!
