Silly hat day at school for S and D! They designed their own hats and we spent hours having tons of fun making all the detail just like they wanted.
S wanted an jungle/safari hat. I helped him cut out the leaves and animal shapes, but he did all the animal painting and colors all on his own! On the top, you can't really see it from this angle, but he was very adamant that we made sure to put a little sign that says, "Save the Animals." He won for the award for "Best Steve Irwin/animal lover hat."
D wanted "a deep see adventure" so this is what we came up with. He had a lot of fun helping glue everything on and making sure that I put it all in just the right spots. He won for "Best underwater explorer."
